Collectors Edition Fine Art Prints
Art collectors ask for for the highest quality and value and my ‘Collectors Edition Fine Art Prints‘ are exclusively hand printed on ‘Hahnemühle Fine Art Papers‘, the very best papers available. Since 1584 Hahnemühle can proudly look back to a long, uninterrupted tradition and is the oldest German papermaker.
To further achieve the highest value and quality levels, each fine art print is ‘hand printed’ in Germany by Dipl. Ing. H.J. Groß, a well-known pundit on ‘The Art Of Fine Art Printing‘ and ‘Color Management‘ and also a well published author of articles hovering the fine art print industry.

The ‘Hahnemühle Baryta FB’ Fine Art Paper
Hahnemühle offers a wide range of great fine art papers. Too much to list. However, the Hahnemühle ‘Baryta FB’ is my personal favorite and the ‘default’ paper for my fine art prints. Nevertheless, other Hahnemühle papers are available on customer’s request.
With a heavy weight of 350 gsm and a paper thickness of 0.4 mm, the ‘Hahnemühle Baryta FB’ adds great value and feel to any fine art print. The paper’s stiffness, in conjunction with a high scratch-resistance surface, makes this paper much more insensitive during handling. Not to mention the high archival quality and certified longevity.

Baryta FB
Hahnemühle Baryta FB: 350 gsm · 100% α-Cellulose · bright white · high-gloss
The ‘wow factor’ particularly to black and white prints. Barium sulphate ensures the typical gloss that makes this paper a genuine replacement for traditional Baryta papers.
Baryta FB is a bright white paper with an extra smooth surface and ultra glossy coating. It corresponds to a classic Baryta paper in structure and surface. The high grammage of 350 gsm reinforces the traditional character of this paper, creating visually superior prints. For more technical specifications see Data sheet
Archival Quality and Longevity
Archival quality and longevity are important factors for high priced art prints and for a stable value. Hahnemühle fine art papers are tested using recognized standardized processes. See Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. and LNE – Laboratoire national de métrologie et d’essais
Signature
Collector fine art prints are usually signed at the bottom right corner with my surname in capital letters. The signature can also be done on the backside along with the printing date. Or no signature at all.
Print Sizes
‘Sizes’ refer to the dimensions of the motive. Finished prints are slightly larger with a wide over-sized white border around the motive to enhance mounting and mating (handling margin). During shipping and handling the borders also serve as a guard to prevent nicks and burrs (which usually first happens on the borders). The white border can be trimmed any time later.
Shipping
Worldwide shipping. I ship the print only. I usually don’t offer mounted prints (mating or framing) due to the high shipping costs and the risks that come along with the shipping of mounted prints. Prints are shipped in round tubes made of heavy cardboard. Mounting, mating and framing should be done by a local store. I’ll provide a shipping quote prior to shipping.
How To Order ?
I’m not a big fan of clinical shopping systems. Just contact me for all details, questions, quotes on prints and shipping, etc.
